This vintage original WWII poster was created by Canadian born artist Steve Broder and issued by the Office of War Information as OWI Poster No. 19 in 1942. The poster features a ground level perspective view of the Statue of Liberty lifting her lantern high next to the flags of the United States and her allies under the simple headline The United Nations Fight For Freedom.
This vintage original poster is folded as issued and shows light handling wear and modest toning from age. The poster has a pinhole near each of the upper corners and the lower right hand corner and there is a small bit of penciling on the verso. The colors remain strong and overall condition is very good.
