This vintage original WWII poster illustrates the Uniform Insignia of the United States Navy. More than 75 different insignia are illustrated on this poster which also has brief descriptions on the display of insignia for Commissioned and Warrant Officers, Chief Petty Officers and Petty Officers and Seamen, Firemen and Messmen.
The lower margin is printed with document code “NRB-33027-7-28-42-15M” which we take to indicate a 1942 publication date. This vintage original poster shows some light foxing, dust staining, toning from age and moderate handling wear including a couple short edge tears, and slight creasing to the upper left and corner. Overall condition is very good.
