This is vintage original WWII era Official United States Treasury Poster was issued in 1943 to promote the sale of War Bonds. The image of an elderly European woman standing against the wreckage of a smokey war-torn landscape with tears in her eyes adding emphasis to the poster’s tag line:
…and WE talk about sacrifice – Buy WAR BONDS
This small format poster is folded as issued and has a staple hole on each corner and moderate handling wear including some creasing on the right edge at the center fold line. The poster retains strong colors and overall condition is very good.
