This vintage original and rare WWII poster served as both a recruiting poster for the United States Navy and Marine Corps aviation and as a promotional poster for the 1943 Warner Brothers movie Destination Tokyo. The poster indicates the movie’s title "Destination Tokyo" was the goal of Marine Corps and Naval aviators and indicates to prospective recruits “You Can Enlist Today” by contacting the Naval Aviation Cadet Selection Board at the Naval Officer Procurement Office in Los Angeles, California. The poster also invites the viewer to see the “Great Action Hit” Destination Tokyo at Warners Hollywood Downtown Wiltern theater. The lower margin indicates the poster was produced by Myer Show Print, 1216 So. Grand Ave.

This vintage original poster was issued folded and shows light handling wear and some toning from age. The poster also shows faint ghosting from the red letters in the movie title. The poster has no tape or pinholes and was probably never used. Overall condition is very good.
