This is the complete set of all four vintage original WWII era posters comprising Norman Rockwell’s Four Freedoms series. This series of posters was inspired by FDR’s famous January 6, 1941 State of the Union Address in which he outlined the “Four Freedoms”. Roosevelt and others would return to the theme of the Four Freedoms frequently as a touchstone of what Americans were fighting for throughout World War Two.

All posters in this set are in the hard to find largest size measuring 56” x 40”.  The set includes Freedom Of Worship (OWI Poster No. 43), Freedom Of Speech (OWI Poster No. 44), Freedom From Want (OWI Poster No. 45) and Freedom From Fear (OWI Poster No. 46).

These vintage original posters have no tape or pinholes and show some toning from age and moderate handling wear including small areas of separation at fold line intersections and some short tears on the edges in places.  The Freedom From Want poster has a small bit of staining in the upper left of the image area which should be easily mitigated with basic linen backing.  Contact us for additional photos and condition details as needed.  Linen backing for this set is available for an additional cost.  Overall condition is very good for this vintage original poster set in the hard to find largest size format.
