This is a vintage original WWII era Freedom of Speech poster from Norman Rockwell’s famous Four Freedoms series. This poster and the others in the series were inspired by FDR’s historic January 6, 1941 State of the Union Address in which he outlined the “Four Freedoms”.  Roosevelt and others would return to the theme of the Four Freedoms frequently as a touchstone of what Americans were fighting for throughout World War Two.

This is the rarer largest size of this poster measuring about 56” x 40” issued as OWI Poster No. 44 by the Office of War Information. This vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed with minimal expert touchup to fold line wear as needed.  Overall condition is very good for this vintage original poster.
