This is a vintage original double sided WWII era Newsmap poster issued December 6, 1943. One side features maps, photos and text explaining developments on the warfronts of the Pacific and European theaters. The verso is a large poster titled “Sentinels Must Know The 11 General Orders” which features a montage of 11 different Modern style poster like illustrations each covering a different aspect of military sentry training. The lower margin indicates “Prepared and distributed by Army Orientation Course – Morale Services Division”.
This poster is fully complete without any paper loss but does have a couple inches of separation along the fold lines in two spots where the fold lines intersect. The poster is folded as issued and has some toning from age and moderate handling wear. Overall condition is otherwise very good for this vintage WWII era original.
