This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the Office of War Information as OWI Poster No. 76. A brutish hairy and muscular hand with swastika insignia on the sleeve drives a large dagger straight through the Holy Bible symbolizing the Nazi attacks on the Freedom of Religion. Freedom of Religion formed one of the pillars of FDR’s famous wartime Four Freedoms speech.
This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and shows just light handling wear and a bit of modest toning from age. The poster is folded as issued and will ship that way. Overall condition is very good for this vintage original.
