This vintage original WWII poster is one in a series issued by Abbott Laboratories in conjunction with the United States Treasury Schools-At-War Program. This poster features the tender image of a mother with three children on a farm receiving a letter, presumably from her husband serving America on a distant shore, with the title To Keep Our Land Secure - BUY WAR BONDS. The back of the poster has a small text box with information on the poster’s artist Leon Kroll who’s Justice Triumphant and Justice Defeated murals adorn the Kennedy Department of Justice Building in Washington DC.
