This vintage original and very rare poster was created by the artist Glenn Grohe for the Aluminum Company of America in 1943. Grohe creates a top down perspective of an American bomber in fight with crew and the target area below visible with the title We Watch You While We Work. This poster is one of several created by Alcoa during WWII to help motivate their workforce engaged in the manufacture of essential wartime materiel. The lower right hand corner is printed with a 1943 copyright by the Aluminum Company of America and Grohe’s signature appears in print just above.

This poster has been professionally linen backed and a couple short tears on the edges expertly repaired. Some creases in the image area have been skillfully mitigated. The colors remain bold and the poster displays very well. Overall condition is very good.
