This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the War Production Board in 1943. The image of a muscular arm raising a engineers’ hammer next to the arm of the Statue of Liberty raising her torch aptly underscores the poster’s title message WORK TO KEEP FREE! This hard to find poster, like others issued by the WWII era War Production Board, were used to motivate workers laboring to produce essential war materiel.

This vintage original WWII poster has no tape or pinholes and is fully complete and well intact. The poster shows modest handling wear, slight toning from age and a small bit of separation at the intersection of the fold lines in one or two spots. The colors remain bold, the poster is folded as issued and overall condition is very good.
