This is a vintage original WWII poster issued by the United States Treasury in support of the Fifth War Loan which ran in June and July, 1944. This poster features an image of the idealized American family dressed in denim overalls and holding farm implements in a scene reminiscent of Grant Wood’s iconic painting American Gothic. In this updated version, the couple’s son joins in with the same look of determination and the old clapboard house in Wood’s masterpiece has been replaced with the stars and bars of an American flag.  

This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and doesn’t appear to have ever been used displaying only the lightest of handling wear. Overall condition is excellent. This poster is folded as issued and ships folded.
