This vintage original WWII poster is one in a series issued by Abbott Laboratories in conjunction with the United States Treasury Schools-At-War Program. This poster features an image an American soldier helping another soldier shoulder a heavy duffle bag with the title Carry Your Share - BUY WAR BONDS. The back of the poster has a small text box with information on the poster’s Philadelphia born artist Joseph Hirsch who had been embedded as a war correspondent and artist with American forces in the Pacific as well as North Africa and Italy during WWII.
