This vintage original WWII era placard sign poster is printed one side only on cardboard and was issued by the United States Coast Guard to indicate where smoking was allowed. The lower is printed “4-44” which we take to indicate a 1944 publication date. Also printed in the lower margin is “Graphic Unit U.S.G.C.”. This poster has few scattered small stains and spots, some toning from age and moderate handling wear. Overall condition is very good.
