This vintage original WWII era poster was issued by The Garden City Publishing Company and shows a cutaway view of an US Navy aircraft carrier titled:
AMERICAN AIRCRAFT CARRIER By Jim Ray – A Detailed Cross-Section Of A Typical Modern Flat Top – Produced with the Cooperation of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Air and the Bureau of Ships – U.S. Navy
This poster shows great detail on the inner workings of a WWII American aircraft carrier. The lower margin indicates a 1944 copyright by The Garden City Publishing Company and indicates “Designed, Planned and Executed by Jim Ray”.
This vintage original poster is fully complete and well intact with small areas of separation at the intersection of the fold lines in places and on the fold lines at the edges in places. The poster has a small puncture without loss of paper near the upper left hand corner and some toning from age and moderate handling wear. Overall condition is very good.
