This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the United States Treasury in 1944 to promote the sale of Series E bonds or War Savings Bonds as they were know. This poster features the image of an unissued supersized Series E War Savings Bond in the $100 denomination with the date 1944 printed on the lower margin. This poster is made out to “Mr. and Mrs. America” of “Everywhere, U.S.A” and has a facsimile signature of Secretary of the Treasury, Henry Morgenthau, Jr.
This vintage original WWII poster has a VFW ink hand stamp in the lower right hand corner but otherwise looks unused and shows only the slightest handling wear. Overall condition is very good.
