This poster was produced by the publicity department of the Westinghouse Corporation just after the end of WWII to highlight the company’s roll in developing ground based aircraft radar systems for the United States Marine Corps. The poster features an image of the Radar “Umbrella” collapsible antenna that could act as a receiver or sender of shortwave signals capable of detecting airplanes as far as 80 miles away.
The lower margin is printed “News Poster 118 – Post December 1, 1945”.
