This vintage original horizontal format WWI poster was issued to help promote donations to the American Red Cross. The poster has the large Red Cross symbol with text that reads:
How About America? Germany entered the war with 800,000 trained nurses, 80,000 trained ambulance drivers, complete supplies – all ready for duty. What are we going in with? IT’S UP TO YOU! Give all you can – give ‘til it hurts – The American Red Cross must have money now
This antique original poster has a union made printer emblem in the lower right hand corner and was issued folded. The poster shows moderate handling wear, folds and pinholes on each corner as well as some toning from age and light scattered foxing in places. Overall condition is very good.
