This vintage original horizontal format WWI poster was issued to help promote donations to the American Red Cross. The poster has the large Red Cross symbol with text that reads:
EVERY BOY that goes to the front has the right to services of a doctor, a nurse and a bandage if he is wounded. This service must be supplied by the RED CROSS What Will You Give To Comfort Our Wounded Patriots? Every subscription saves lives – Subscribe – See that your neighbor does, too
This antique original poster has a union made printer emblem in the lower right hand corner and was issued folded. The poster shows moderate handling wear, folds and a pinhole on each corner as well as some toning from age and light scattered foxing in places. Overall condition is very good.
