This original antique WWI poster was created by noted marine painter and watercolorist Gordon Grant and issued to promote membership in the American Red Cross. An angelic nurse leads a wounded soldier with his arm in a sling and bandages over his eyes and asks - What are YOU Doing To HELP? Grant’s name is signed in print in the lower left hand corner of the image and the bottom of the poster is printed “Join Your American Red Cross – Subscribing Memberships $2.00 up”
This original antique poster is folded and shows moderate handling wear and a few small stains and scattered spots. Overall condition is very good.
