This rare WWII poster was issued by General Motors to encourage the company’s employees to purchase war bonds. This poster features the “GM Save Serve” wartime logo and the image a hand in a civilian clothing sleeve changing money with a hand in a patriotic stars and strips Uncle Sam suit style sleeve with text that reads Make Idle Cash Grow! Lend 3 Get 4 – Buy Extra War Bonds. This rare poster was probably only issued for internal use in GM factories, offices and dealerships which accounts for its rarity. A Worldcat search locates no copies and we trace none at auction.

This vintage original poster has a single pinhole on each corner, light handling wear including edge slightly bumped in a couple spots and some toning from age. Overall condition is very good.
