This is a vintage original streetcar sign type poster created by Norman Rockwell and issued by the United States Army Reserve. This poster features the image of a young boy struggling to press a heavy barbell over his head with man behind him giving a hand with the title Strength in Reserve – Serve In The Army Reserve. Rockwell’s signature appears in print in the lower right side of the image. This poster is printed on cardboard and designed for use as overhead advertising use in streetcars.
This vintage original poster shows light handling wear including lower corners and edges slightly bumped in spots. The poster has no tape or pinholes. Overall condition is very good for this vintage original.
