This vintage original WWII poster was issued as OWI Poster No. 54 in 1943. This poster falls into the “Loose Lips Sink Ships” genre and features am image of an American soldier and his brothers-in-arms boarding a troop train. Dark shadowing alludes to unknown danger ahead and ads gravity to the poster’s simple and direct message – If you tell where they are going…they may never get there. DON’T TALK ABOUT TROOP MOVEMENTS.
This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and looks unused. The poster is folded as issued and shows moderate handling wear and some toning from age. Overall condition is very good.
