This vintage original Christmas themed safety poster was issued by the National Safety Council in 1928.   The lower margin is printed with the National Safety Council logo and “Education Section No. Ed. 33”.  The upper margin is printed “Safety Education December 1928, New York, N.Y.” so this the date.       

This poster features an image of children playing with their new toys under a Christmas tree with text that reads: 

PLAY SAFE FOR A MERRY CHRISTMAS!  

This poster is a vintage original folded once laterally across the center as issued and is probably unused with no tape or pinholes.  The poster shows moderate handling wear including some bumping along the right edge and small creases on the tips of the upper and lower corners on the left side.  There is also a slight bit of dust staining in the margin along the right edge of the poster.  Overall condition is very good.
