This stirring poster was created by the artist Bernard Perlin during the darkest days of WWII for the Office of War Information. Under a wintry gray sky, G.I.s in their burly US Army wool trench coats march purposely past a wall of Revolutionary War Minutemen who stand at stern attention with the hardships of Valley Forge winters etched on their faces. The lower margin indicates this is OWI Poster No. 26.
This poster is a vintage original in the half sheet size folded. This poster has no tape or pinholes and was probably never used. The poster shows light handling wear and some slight bumping to the edges in places. The colors are robust and overall condition is excellent. This poster ships folded as issued.
