This is a vintage original PSA slabbed and graded ticket stub from Game One of the 1920 World Series. This game was played at Ebbets Field on October 5, 1920 and pitted the Cleveland Indians against the Brooklyn Robins. Cleveland won the game 3-1 and went on to win the series. The 1920 World Series saw the World Series only triple play, the first World Series grand slam and the first World Series home run by a pitcher, all in the fifth game.

The original owner noted the score of the game in pencil on the front and the score and starting pitchers on the back of the ticket also in pencil.

Recently the Leland’s auction house sold a ticket stub from Game #2 of the 1920 World Series for $1288. The stub sold by Leland’s had a small bit of paper loss on one corner and the PSA population report shows two stubs for Game 2.

The PSA population report shows only one 1920 World Series ticket stub and this is it. This is an extremely rare item and the only one on record at PSA. Email any questions. Thanks for looking.
