This vintage original c.1927 safety poster issued by the National Safety Council.   The lower margin is printed “General Series No. 2019-B” and “Awarded First Prize In The National Safety Council Poster Compeition (1927) Drawn By Thomas A. Keller – Dayton, Ohio.”  

This poster features the image of a woman talking on an candlestick style telephone over a scene of an ambulance driving toward a factor with text that reads: 

HE NEGLECTED TO BE CAREFUL 

This vintage original poster isn’t dated but the reference to the 1927 National Safety Council Poster Competition suggests this poster was probably issued around that c.1927 time period.  This poster is folded as issued and looks unused with no tape or pinholes and only light handling wear and modest toning from age.  Overall condition is very good.
