This is an original catalog circular for the month of August 1931 featuring “Race Records” issued by the Brunswick Records company.   This circular is a single piece with four panels printed both sides that measures about 7” x 5” folded and folds open to about 14” x 10”.  The front cover panel features the versatile American tap dancer, actor and singer Bill “Bojangles” Robinson doing one of his famous tap dancing routines.

This circular lists hundreds of Brunswick records divided into a few different categories including Dance, Dixie and Race among a couple others.   Brunswick used the 7000 numbering series for their Race Records category and this section lists about 68 Brunswick records and includes such Blues artists as Lucille Bogan, Arthur Pettis, Too Tight Henry, Mississippi Blacksnakes, Ell-Zee Floyd, Tennessee Shakers and many others.  Song titles include Wash and Iron Woman Blues, Wish I Could Die, Shakin’ That Jelly, Dry Spell Blues and lots more.

This vintage original Brunswick Race Records catalog circular is fully complete and in very good condition with just light handling wear.
