This is a vintage original die-cut herald from the 1933 RKO fantasy adventure horror movie King Kong. This herald has four panels printed both sides and folds open to 16” x 7”. The front cover panel features the movie’s thrilling climatic scene with Army biplanes swarming King Kong as he holds Fay Wray atop of the Empire State Building. This herald is nicely illustrated with scenes from the movie. The back cover panel is overprinted with the name of the Fox Dodge Theater of Dodge City, Kansas and a brief listing of coming attractions.

This herald is a vintage original issued for distribution at movie theaters during King Kong’s original release in 1933. This herald is in excellent, near mint condition with bright color and just a light vertical crease at the center and modest handling wear. This is a exceptional specimen from one of the most innovative and iconic movies from Hollywood’s Golden Age.
