This is a vintage original souvenir poster from the 1936 Texas Centennial Exposition world’s fair.  This poster is folded and was designed to be mailed with an address panel printed on the back of the poster.    The poster has large letters in a script font that read Darling, I Love You.   The lower left corner has the 1936 Texas Centennial Celebrations logo and text that reads “They Do Things in a BIG Way in This Big State of Texas.  I Love You in a Great Big Way.”  The bottom center is printed with a copyright by H.S.E. Co. Box 1016 Dallas, Texas.  

The address panel on verso has a name and address written in by the original sender but no postage stamp or postmark.  The sender wrote his name “Obie” on the return address part of the address panel and also signed his name “Obie” below the Darling, I Love You on the poster side.    This vintage original poster is free of tape of pinholes and shows moderate handling wear and some toning from age.  This poster also has a few inches of separation on the center vertical fold line at both the top and bottom edges and an addition tear of about an inch without paper loss off the center vertical fold line near the top edge which are all pretty much undetectable when the poster is laid flat. Overall condition is very good for this vintage original souvenir poster from the 1936 Texas Centennial Exposition.
