This is an original vintage 1939 newsstand advertising poster for the British movie magazine Film Weekly. This poster measures 30” x 19.25” and features a large photo of Clark Gable and Norma Shearer in the 1939 MGM comedy-drama Idiot’s Delight. The lower margin is printed “9-9-‘39”which I believe indicates this was issued to advertise the September 9, 1939 issue of Film Weekly. This poster is a vintage original which has been folded and shows just some toning from age and modest handling wear including a couple small nicks on the edges. Overall condition is very good.
