This is a vintage original folded one sheet poster for the 1940 Republic Pictures serial Mysterious Doctor Satan. This poster is for Chapter One or the first installment in this serial titled Return Of The Copperhead.  The plotline of this 15-chapter serial involved the evil Doctor Satan with plans for world domination being pursued by the masked mystery man “The Copperhead” whose secret identify is Bob Wayne, a man seeking justice and revenge for the death of his guardian Governor Bronson.   

This unrestored used vintage original folded one sheet poster for the movie serial’s 1940 first release shows moderate handling wear and some wear and separation on the fold lines.  There are several inches of separation on the center vertical fold line and a small bit of paper loss at the intersection of the fold lines.  The poster was folded slightly irregularly. The poster still displays nicely and could be linen backed if you wanted it get it looking as good as possible.  Overall condition is good.
