This vintage original pictorial map poster is one in a series created by Robert T. Aitchison for the Mentholatum Company of Wilmington, Delaware.   This pictorial map features The Badger State of Wisconsin and has a 1941 copyright by Aitchison printed in the lower margin.   These maps were intended for school use and were sent out as advertising premiums free to teachers and could be purchased in quantities of ten or more for 10 cents each.  Aitchison produced as many as 35 different pictorial maps for the Mentholatum Company beginning in the early 1930s.   This map copyrighted 1941 is one of his last for the Mentholatum Company.   Additional historical information on the state of Wisconsin is printed below the map.  

This vintage original pictorial map poster moderate handling wear, some toning from age and pinholes on the corners.  There is a short tear of about an inch with paper loss at the bottom and a couple small nicks and chips on the edges.  Overall condition is very good.
