This powerfully dramatic poster is considered by many to be among the most iconic American posters of WWII. Uncle Sam, wrapped in Old Glory, appears almost like Moses parting The Red Sea with armies charging forward below and the skies above filled with bombers. The message is simple, cry havoc and let slip the dogs of the American war machine.
This vintage original poster is folded as issued and looks pretty well unused with no tape or pinholes and only slight handling wear and modest toning from age. The poster has maybe an 1/8" of separation on the fold lines at the edges in a couple spots. The colors are strong and overall condition is excellent. This poster is truly among the artistically greatest and most effective American propaganda posters of the WWII era and displays beautifully.
