This vintage original poster by Allen Saalburg was produced in 1942 shortly after the United States entered WWII. A battered American flag flaps in the wind against a backdrop of billowing smoke rising in a blue sky.  Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address is quoted to add emphasis to the stark tagline to Remember December 7th and the events at Pearl Harbor on that Day of Infamy.  This poster was issued in a few different sizes and this one is the full size one sheet version.   

This iconic vintage original WWII poster is folded as issued shows moderate handling wear including a short tear of about two inches without paper loss at the right edge near the top corner and a small crease at the top edge.  The poster shows some toning from age and had a couple small edge tears and a bit of separation at the intersection of fold lines in a couple places which have been stablized with a few small pieces of acid free document repair tissue applied to verso.   The colors remain strong, the poster displays nicely and overall condition is very good.
