This vintage original WWII poster was issued in 1942 by the War Production Board Bureau of Industrial Conservation to promote recycling of tin cans as part of the overall wartime scrap metal drive effort. This poster features instructional cartoon diagrams illustrating in simple terms the main points of preparing tin cans for recycling. The tag line WIN WITH TIN reminded the target audience that something as simple as recycling a tin can was an important contribution that everyday Americans on the home front could make toward the war effort.

This vintage original WWII shows some toning from age and light handling wear. This poster has a few small pinholes on the corners and edges. The poster was issued folded and ships that way. Overall condition is very good.
