This vintage original WWII poster is one in series created by the Walt Disney Studios in 1943 for the Food and Nutrition Committee of the California War Council. This poster features beloved Disney character Goofy to remind factory workers and others laboring in support of the war effort of the importance of eating a nutritious lunch. Goofy is shown yawning and looking like he needs a nap under the poster’s title - a goofy lunch pulls your punch! A 1943 copyright by Walt Disney Studios is printed on the poster along with suggestions for what constitutes a good lunch.

This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and shows moderate handling wear and modest toning from age. The poster has a small notch off the left edge near the upper corner and a short quarter inch tear and slight creasing at the bottom center.   The poster also has a small bit of dimpling to the paper on the upper half.  The colors are strong and overall condition is very good.
