This vintage original poster was issued by the United States government in 1943 to provide tips on conserving energy on the American homefront.  This poster provides tips such as “don’t heat unused rooms” and “draw window shades at night” under the title Fuel Fights!  Save Your Share.  Text at the bottom of the poster reads Saving fuel also saves manpower, material, equipment – Conserve Coal, Oil, Gas…For War.   The lower margin indicates a 1943 publication date by the U.S. Government Printing Office.

This vintage original poster is folded as issued and looks pretty well unused with no tape or pinholes and only light handling wear and slight toning from age.  Overall condition is very good.
