This is a vintage original WWII poster was issued by the United States Treasury in 1944 to promote the sale of War Bonds. Boris Chaliapin’s design features Supreme Allied Commander, Four Star General and future President of the United States Dwight D. Eisenhower holding binoculars and a map superimposed over a scene of an Allied invasion force tanks, airplanes and infantry charging forward from landing craft. The lower margin indicates "Official U.S. Treasury Poster” and the date 1944.

This vintage original poster has no tape or staining and shows moderate handling wear including a pinhole on each corner and a short tear without loss of about a half inch on the left edge.  The poster also shows separation on the vertical fold line of a few inches at the top edge and about an inch at the bottom edge but no loss of paper.   Overall condition is very good. This poster ships folded as issued.
