This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the United States Treasury to promote the sale of war bonds in 1944. In a cartoonish style, an American soldier swings his rifle like a baseball bat at charging Japanese attacker as he stands on the body of dead Hitler with a city burning in the distance. The lower margin indicates Official U.S. Treasury Poster and the lower left hand corner shows Dulfer Litho., S.F., Calif. 9-15-44.

This poster is folded as issued and in very good condition overall with moderate handling wear and a bit of dust staining along the bottom margin. This poster has slight creasing in places and a couple short tears on the edges. The color is strong and overall condition is very good.
