This vintage original Italian travel poster created by Virgilio Retrosi advertises the 1949 Miss Europe pageant or Festival Internaz Della Bellezza e Della Grazia (International Festival of Beauty and Grace) held in Palermo, Italy.    This poster was issued by ENIT, the official Italian tourism authority and Retrosi’s signature appears in print on the left side.  The 1949 event was the 13th Miss Europe pageant and the title was awarded to Juliette Figueras of France

This vintage original poster is free of tape or pinholes and looks pretty well unused with just light handling wear.  This poster was issued folded.  Overall condition is very good.
