This is a vintage original 1949 trolly car style horizontal format poster issued by the United States Treasury to help promote the sale of U.S. Savings Bonds. This poster features an image of a man walking into a factory with lunch box in hand and another image of the same man looking a bit older fishing for fun with text that reads:

TODAY…Plan for TOMORROW – Put More Opportunity In Your Future – Invest In U.S. Savings Bonds

The lower margin indicates a 1949 GPO publication date and features an Advertising Council logo. This poster is printed one side only on lightweight cardboard in the format most commonly used for overhead advertising on streetcars, buses and passenger trains.

This poster shows slight toning for age and light handling wear including a small nick on the lower right and upper left corners. The colors are strong and overall condition is very good for this rare vintage original.
