This vintage original Italian travel poster was issued in 1950 to promote the La Casazza in Insello, Sicily. La Casazza was a sacred religious play or liturgical drama depicting the most significant scenes in the life of Jesus Christ which was first performed in Insello in 1624 and last performed in 1950 which is the year of this poster. This poster was issued by the Provincial Tourist Board of Palermo, Sicily. The studio that created the poster is printed on the right edge but we are unable to decipher the name.
This vintage original poster was originally issued folded, shows moderate handling wear and has a couple short tears and small nicks on the edges. A few small pieces of easily removable acid free archival document paper repair tape have been applied to the back of the poster to stabilize short tears on the edges. Overall condition is very good.
