This vintage original poster promoting Germany as a travel destination was created by the prolific David Klein and issued around 1962. David Klein created many wonderful posters for the airline in the 1950s and 1960s of which this one is a great example. For this poster Klein renders an image of Nuremberg’s famous Gänsemännchen or Gooseman Statue set against Gothic architecture all in Klein’s pleasing Mid-Century Modern style.
This vintage original poster is free or tape or pinholes and looks pretty well unused. The poster shows moderate handling wear including some slight bumping to the edges in places. The lower right corner has a small puncture and a light crease. Overall condition is very good for this vintage original.
