This vintage original poster promoting Paris as a travel destination was created by the prolific David Klein and issued around 1962. David Klein created many wonderful posters for the airline in the 1950s and 1960s and this is one of his most popular Mid-Century TWA designs. The City of Light’s most iconic landmark, the Eiffel Tower, is illuminated by a splendid display of fireworks as a TWA jet passes overhead. This was the Jet Age after all.
This vintage original poster has been professionally conservation mounted to linen with minimal minor touchup to slight bumping to the edges in a couple spots. The poster retains vibrant colors and displays beautifully. Overall condition is very good.
