This is a vintage original poster for the 5th Annual San Francisco Blues Festival held at the McLaren Park Amphitheatre on August 13th and 14th, 1977.   This poster features a stylized image of man playing a harmonica with the Golden Gate Bridge reflecting in his sunglasses with a design credit to Ted Sharpe printed on the lower left corner.

Performers for the 1977 festival included Albert Collins, Robert Cray, Phillip Walker, Sonny Rhodes, Johnny Fuller, Tom McFarland, Chick Streetman & Mississippi Charles Bevel, Johnny Waters, Boogie Jake, Willie Joe Duncan, Little Johnny Littlefield, Johnny Heartsman, Al King, Tiny Powell, Willie B. Huff and Gospel Clouds.  

The San Fransico Blues Festival was founded and produced by Tom Mazzolini and ran from 1973 to 2008. When this beloved celebration of American blues music finally came to an end after a run of 37 years it was the longest running blues festival in the United States. This poster is a vintage original from the 1977 festival in excellent condition.  This poster is free of tape or pinholes and shows only slight handling wear.  Overall condition is excellent.
