Performers for the 1980 festival are listed on the poster and included John Lee Hooker, The Cobras, Sonny Rhodes, The Nighthawks, J.J. Malone and Troyce Key, Percy Mayfield, Pee Wee Crayton, Blind Joe Hill, Soolyman Rowgie, Margie Evans and the Hollywood Fats Band,  Buddy Ace, Little Frankie Lee, Little Charlie & the Nightcats, Mississippi Johnny Waters and the Blues Survivors, Gary Smith & The Houserockers and Andrew Jeffries.

The San Fransico Blues Festival was founded and produced by Tom Mazzolini and ran from 1973 to 2008. When this beloved celebration of American blues music finally came to an end after a run of 37 years it was the longest running blues festival in the United States.  This poster is a vintage original from the 1980 festival in excellent condition.  This poster is free of tape or pinholes and shows only slight handling wear.  Overall condition is excellent.
