This vintage original c.1923 safety poster was created by the artist C.H. Stamm and issued by the National Safety Council.   The lower margin is printed with the National Safety Council logo and “General Series No. 1333-B”     

For this poster Stamm renders an image of a man in work clothes smiling broadly as he opens an envelope full of cash with text that reads: 

That PAY DAY SMILE – No lost time means a full pay envelope 

This poster isn’t dated but the artist’s name is signed in print in the lower right corner of the image along with “23” which we take to indicate 1923 so thus the date.   This poster is a vintage original folded as issued and looks unused with no tape or pinholes and only light handling wear and modest toning from age.  Overall condition is very good.
