This impressive Polish travel poster for the beautiful city of Krakow was created in the mid 1930s by Stefan Norblin. Towers of the city’s iconic Wawel Castle fortress complex are stylized against an orange sky as if seen from the Vistula River with the spires of St. Mary’s Basilica making an appearance in the distance. The lower margin indicates Printed In Poland – Zakt. Graf. E.i Dr. Kozianskich. Warszawa
This unrestored poster is a vintage original with modest toning from age and modest handling wear including two short tears of about half a cm on the right edge. Overall condition is very good.
