This is a vintage original art instruction lesson booklet on Poster Drawing written by the celebrated British poster artist Frank Newbould and published by the North American School of Drawing.  The front cover indicates Lesson Twenty-Three and POSTER DRAWING. The title page reads:

Lesson Twenty-Three POSTER DRAWING Specially written by Frank Newbould – With Reproductions of Posters by the Author and other Artists – The North American School of Drawing

This booklet isn’t dated but other lessons in this drawing art instruction series had dates to the late 1920s.  This booklet includes color reproductions of three of Newbould’s posters including the Royal Hotel at Ventnor on the Isle of Wright, the city of Scarborough done for the London North Eastern Railway and "Kingston by Tram" with additional text explaining Newbould’s design methods.  Also included are posters designed by Gregory Brown for Bobby & Co., Ltd. and another poster for Sunlight Soap credited to Carlton Studio, Ltd. The back cover indicates “Printed in England by Vacher & Sons, Ltd., Westminster House, S.W. 1, for the North American School of Drawing".

This vintage original Poster Drawing lesson booklet is fully complete and intact with just light handling wear and modest toning from age.  Overall condition is very good.
